Since springtime is around and it's going to rain like crazy and I don't have any waterproof boots/shoes, I decided to settle on a pair of Hunter Boots. The price is a bit steep, $160 + taxes so it ended up being around $180.
My feet are normally around a 6 1/2 or a 7, but I heard that these boots run a bit big so I sized down to a 6 and I think it's perfect!
I haven't tested these out in the rain yet, but since it is a rainboot I don't need to worry about ruining my other boots.
Also, the calf circumference is worth mentioning. My calves are 14 inches exactly and these boots supposedly have a 15 inch circumference. My calves almost barely fit into these boots with jeans on! So if your calves are 14+ inches, I definitely suggest to go for the adjustable Hunter Boots or the Huntress Boots (these are the wide calf boots and the calf circumference is 16 1/2 inches).
