Chicken Breast Marinade Recipe

Sunday, March 16, 2014

We all know how healthy chicken breast is for you but there's just one problem... it tastes so bland.

I've been experimenting with different marinades that have made the chicken taste good, and moist and I have a winner.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Lemon juice
  • One or two tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • A couple cloves of garlic (depending on your preference but I put A LOT in like 4 cloves)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Dried Oregano, Basil, Parsley, any herb you like (obviously using fresh is better but I didn't have any)

First step is to wash the chicken breasts in water, dry it off and then cut them in half.

Then you combine all of these ingredients in a bowl, and yes I didn't list the exact measurements on the ingredient list for how much soy sauce, lemon juice and balsamic vinegar to use because I honestly don't measure it and I just kind of pour it all in and mix it (then I taste it to make sure it tastes good).

Then you add your chicken breasts to the mixture, and make sure that all the chicken breasts are coated and flip them around to make sure that it is.

Cover the bowl with saran wrap and let it marinade either 30 minutes room temperature or like 1 hour or more in the fridge.

Cook them however you prefer, in the oven, pan fried, on the grill, whatever.

I cooked them in the oven this time 350 degrees for around 35-37 minutes

Trust me these taste AMAZING.
