Davids Tea: Kokomo Green

Thursday, January 9, 2014

This green tea smells and tastes divine! It has little candied bits of fruit inside and makes the aroma of your tea sweeter and not as bitter has regular green tea. When you smell it from the tin, your surrounded by a very fruity (not fake fruity) smell and it makes you completely forget that its green tea.

Apart from green tea there are mangos, papaya, pineapple, rose petals, cornflower petals, artificial mango, exotic passionfruit and passionfruit flavouring.

PREPARATION:

Steep 1 and 1/4 teaspoons of the dry leaves in an infuser for around 5-7 minutes (I go for around 10 because I like tea to be a bit stronger) in 93 degree water - I like to boil my water with an electric kettle and just turn it off a minute before it's done. Technically, you're supposed to steep green tea at a lower temperature than other teas.
