Toms Review

Tuesday, May 6, 2014

Toms have been trendy shoes for quite a while now and I've personally never had a pair until a week ago.

The number one reason why I haven't bought a pair of Toms was the price. $55 for a pair of canvas shoes plus tax which would make them out to be around $62. That's a hefty price for a pair of flats. I mean I could just go to Aldo, or Ardene and buy a pair for like $15.

Anyways, I did some more research into the company and found out that they have a great business model. The "one for one" model which they donate a pair of shoes for each pair of shoes that are bought.

Also, I had a lot of friends raving about how comfortable they are. They mold to your feet!

So I decided to give them a try, I ordered a pair of the Toms Official website, and got the Ash Grey Canvas Toms in my normal size, a size 6.

The shipping process was good and fast, I received them around 3 business days after I ordered them.

FIT:
So I know that in the pictures they look a bit brown, but they are most certainly grey!!

I have really really wide feet (to the point that sometimes I have to size up a size and a half in a lot of shoes in order for the width to fit comfortably)!
These babies were extremely tight to put on at first, I was literally cringing, but I wore them around my house for a couple hours and they started to feel super comfortable.

I actually probably should have ordered a 5.5 because there is a bit of room from the top of my top to the top of the shoe. They have stretched enough for my very wide feet to be conformable!

The support of these shoes are also way better than any knock off brand from Ardene and such, you can actually feel the support when you're walking and they feel like really good quality.

Overall, I am super happy with them and I think that I am going to order another pair, probably in black.
