Clif Bars

Sunday, March 2, 2014

After hearing multiple reviews about Clif Bars, I decided to give them a try.
This is the crunchy peanut butter clif bar - 250 calories
Let me tell you that if you're in school, these are a must. They're also good for pre or post workout "meals". These are energy bars that give you a boost when you're tired or hungry, and they are filling!

Clif Bars are made with 70% organic ingredients, have no trans fat, are an excellent source for protein and fiber, and have a whole bunch of vitamins and minerals (such as Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Calcium, Iron.. etc).

The key is that instead of sugar, or any kind of artificial sweetener, Clif Bars contain Organic Brown Rice Syrup (which is different from all the other energy bars on the market). Another note is that they only contain about 240 calories per bar (which is a lot of calories for an energy bar but this bar has so many vitamins and minerals, and tastes good so it kind of cancels that factor out)

I bought a box of 18 assorted Chocolate Almond Fudge, Chocolate Chip and Crunchy Peanut Butter and have to say that I like all of them but my personal favourite is definitely the Chocolate Almond Fudge Clif Bar - it tastes like a brownie! And the texture is nice and soft so it's not too hard to chew or swallow.
