Lululemon Free to Be Bra Review

Monday, December 2, 2013

This sports bra by Lululemon was on their 'we made too much' section for $29, a $13 savings from the original price of $42 so I picked up a sports bra.

The Free to Be Bra is made out of luxtreme, which is a moisture wicking and stretchable fabric.

It says that it's made for yoga but if your breasts are smaller than a C cup, you can definitely use it for running, cardio, spinning and etc.

As you can see in the photo, it's kind of low cut, meaning if your breasts are on the bigger side, there's a possibility of having a nip slip or this bra just not being supportive enough.

I got a size 4, which it fits me perfectly, however the removable cups aren't that good so sometimes you can see your nips through the bra. I fixed that problem by replacing the Lululemon cups with a pair of cups that I already had from a different sports bra.

The back of the bra has a criss cross back strap which looks cool and unique, but it can be a struggle for people who have broader/smaller shoulders and want to adjust the straps, since there is no adjustability.

I'm glad that I got this on sale for $29, because frankly if I had to pay full price for it, I would have probably tried to return it. I just don't think it lives up to it's expectations.... My opinion is to spend your money on a different (better) sports bra, like from adidas or Nike.

I personally prefer sports bras that have a clasp at the back because it makes it easier to take off and put on.
