Where I live the temperature went down to -41 with windchill and I'm going to share a few tips on surviving that.
I always see people spending hundreds of dollars on winter wear like Canada Goose and Sorel boots and I really don't want to spend like $700 on a jacket that is only going to be worn a couple times a year right?
1) Wear a SCARF! Protect your neck from wind/coldness it will definitely help keep your body warm
2) Double up on Socks
I usually wear warm boots like uggs and I always double up on socks, one regular pair and then I pur on an extra pair of thick wool socks.
3) Mittens
Mittens, specifically cable mittens always feel farmer to me that gloves. Don't wear leather gloves in cold weather btw, it won't keep your hands warm at all.
As long as you bundle up properly and cover every part of your body that is going to be exposed outside, you can definitely tackle the cold weather without getting sick, or getting frostbite or anything!
