Many of you may already know this but, many guru's are sponsored by companies to promote their products (Michelle Phan - Lancome)
Blair Fowler aka Juicystar07
I started watching her videos when she first started youtube and i found her videos to be genuine, and she was easy to relate to, but in the more recent years she has been promoting products like crazy, like she'll have a hair tutorial and be like "oh yeah, just pointing out that my lip glosses are coming out soon so make sure to preorder them!" or "I bought this product the other day and I loved it, you guys should check it out" and she always subtly promotes products which is kind of annoying. If you look at the description box to any of her recent videos, you'll see that it goes on and on and on with links to her "favourite" products (that are actually sponsored) - I've actually found that I don't even like watching her videos because she spends half the time promoting products that I really don't care about.

She is actually one of my favourite guru's on youtube - mainly because she does not promote other companies products -(other than herself)
Bubz is genuine, sweet, gives great tutorials and she's just so fun too watch. If you watch her videos they are purely just "how to's"and she has amazing tips for breaking out and stuff.
One time she broke out really bad and she posted a video about how she washed her face with oatmeal and it helped, whereas other gurus would be like "I used this companies pimple eraser, and this cleanser, and this toner and blahblah" - I find bubz to be really helpful with natural remedies so that we don't have to go to the store and fork over a bunch of money on products.
