Skinfood Nail Polishes

Monday, October 29, 2012

Okay, So today, I'm going to do a review on a nail polish brand called Skinfood,
It's Korean, and I discovered it over the summer while I was travelling there
The cheapest price was 1500 won (equivalent to about $1.40 CAN) and the most expensive were 3000 won ($2.80 CAN)
Since the prices were great, I literally bought like every single colour, and the pictures I have aren't all the colours I own, there are a whole bunch of bottles all over my house I just couldn't find them

The one's with the white and gold caps are supposed to be for your pedicures.. but I use them for my manicures anyways

REVIEW: All of the colours are very pigmented especially the ones with the gold caps, they are sparkly and have specks of glitter in them but their super easy to remove with nail polish remover

The only one that isn't super pigmented is the green apple colour - i had to apply like 3 coats, but still it's a gorgeous colour

Chipping: These cheap within like 2 days I noticed, even with top coat, but my nail tips  chip really easily because they're long.

The top coat and base coat (can't complain about these for the price I paid for them $1.50 each)
They do a decent job, obviously can't compare to Seche Vite, but these are still pretty darn good

My favourite colour -
It looks like a pinkish colour in the bottle , but when it's on your nails it looks like it has specks of a rose  gold/bronze colour, absolutely gorgeous colour, very pigmented, I only need one coat of it.
One time I had it on for three weeks without topcoat and it chipped off halfway across my nails
